Parkway Fishing Spots

The Parkway sits at the headwaters of many local and regional watersheds. Even the very small streams often have cold, clear water that is prime habitat for Brook Trout, the only trout native to the Appalachians. With a single hook, artificial lure and either a North Carolina or Virginia license, visitors can fish in these streams.
