One of the newest Parkway facilities with an award-winning film and interactive high tech exhibits on the natural, cultural, and recreational resources of the region. The Blue Ridge National Heritage Area is a partner here and provides information on regional destinations. This location is also home to a “Kids in Parks” trail - a 1.5 mile long loop trail following part of the Mountains-to-Sea Trail on both sides of the Parkway. The trailhead can be found at the far end of the visitor center parking lot. Trail maps are available inside the visitor center.

Visitor Center is open year round, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. daily. Closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
