MP 83.1, Fallingwaters Cascades Trail

Flat Top-Falling Water Cascade Trail was designated as a National Recreation Trail in 1982.

This 1.6-mile loop follows Fallingwater Creek’s cascades and huge rock outcrops covered in rhododendron and large hemlocks. The trail drops 260 feet below the Fallingwater Trail Parking Area and hikers should be prepared to climb that elevation on their return. Experiencing this mountain cascade is well worth the effort.
